For God so loved the world - The testimony of God
For God did not leave us without a testimony. He was and still is close to us even when our sins made us run away from him. In this series, we look at some of the passages that show God’s amazing testimony of love.

God who draws himself to sinners
Genesis 3:8-9 8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the LORD God called to the man, “Where are you?
God knows all things and he was aware that Adam and Eve had sinned against him. Instead of staying away from man God draws near in love and calls man to himself as always. Even though man's response was to run and hide, God had other thoughts, he went to seek man and find them in their hideout. Even today God is still doing the same. When our ashamed of our sins and we try to hide from him, he will always find us. Like Psalmist we can also confidently sing Psalms 139:7-12
Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
If I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
If I settle on the far side of the sea,
Even there your hand will guide me,
Your right hand will hold me fast.
If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light becomes night around me,”
Even the darkness will not be dark to you;
The night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.

Lord thank you for always being there with me even in places I never expect to find me.
