The book of Ruth is one that shows us friendship, loyalty, and love all in a small family. As we go through these studies, we look at Ruth who is the main character of the book and learn from her character, conduct, and way of life so that we see how this can also be applied in our lives today.

Decide to remain loyal.
Ruth 1:8-13
Naomi was too bitter to keep anyone around her. She didn't want her two daughters to go through any more suffering because of her and she pushed them away. Ruth decides to stay regardless of Naomi having insisted that she should go. She decided that she will stay. Such a wonderful friend she is. She stays close and clings to the one she pledged her friendship to through it all.
